Recording Studio Policy
Booking & Cancellations
A booking is considered “on hold” (not confirmed) until a 50% deposit is received in advance unless alternate arrangements are made of the client has a booking history with the studio in order to have the booking be considered “locked-in”.
We reserve the right to be paid in full before the session for clients without a booking history. Funds must clear before the start of the recording session.
Deposits are only refunded/credited if client cancels with at least 48 hours notice before session starts. Refunds/credits can be applied towards rescheduling your session.
If a cancellation occurs less than 24 hours prior to a session, we reserve the right to collect the entire session fee.
We accept payment in the form of cash and /or credit card. No files or media will be released until the entire balance is paid.
Punctuality & Session Start Times
Please be on-time. If you or your artist are running late, please let us know. We will try to accommodate you and adjust/shift the session schedule, but cannot guarantee your full session if there are bookings after yours.
Session start time begins at the scheduled time even if the artist is not present. Same-day start time changes may incur additional charges.
There is No Smoking inside any building in New York City is against the law, as stated by the FDNY. This includes vaporizers and e-cigarettes.

Data & Back-Ups
All data is automatically stored in an external cloud drive. Once per month all data is backed up to an external drive stored off-site. All data will remain on the studio hard drives for a period of 90 days after a project is completed. After 90 days of project completion, the data will be the responsibility of the client.
- Studio shall secure all recording equipment/media owned by Client and left or stored on studio premises but is not responsible for loss or damage.
- In the event of loss or damage of Client’s recording media due to willful negligence, Studio shall be responsible for replacement of no more than the value of the total replacement cost of the said recording media [hard drive/flash drive/memory cards].
